There is something about the sound of a Miriam’s clay pot doing its thing that just feels right.

This sweet potato quinoa bowl comes together in one pot, quinoa and sweet potatoes slow cooked together in our pure clay pot with warm Mexican seasoning, finished with black beans and corn.
Simple, nourishing, and genuinely delicious.

The clay makes everything better here. Even heat from all directions means the quinoa cooks through consistently and the sweet potatoes become perfectly tender without any hot spots or guesswork. And because MEC is 100% pure primary clay with no coatings or glazes, the only thing going into your bowl is the food itself.

👉 Full sweet potato recipe guide is live on the blog this week. Roasting, steaming, soups, salads, and everything in between.

Consider this your new go to collard greens recipe!

There is nothing complicated about this dish, and that is exactly the point. Good collard greens do not need a long list of ingredients or a complicated technique.

It also doesn’t hurt that collard greens are one of the most nourishing vegetables you can cook with. Rich in vitamin K, vitamin A, vitamin C, and calcium, these greens earn their place on the plate in every possible way.

The full recipe with step by step instructions, ingredient list, and variations for both southern style and fully plant based is live on the blog this week. https://miriamsearthencookware.com/mec-blog/tender-flavorful-collard-greens-recipe-clay-pot/

If collard greens have ever let you down, this one is for you.

Bitterness, toughness, and flat flavor are not qualities of collard greens. They are qualities of collard greens cooked in the wrong pot under the wrong conditions.

The right conditions are simpler than most people think. Even heat that penetrates the greens from all directions rather than blasting them from below. A cooking surface that does not react with the food or introduce anything unwanted into the pot.

And can we talk about how nutritious these greens actually are? Vitamin K, vitamin A, vitamin C, the list goes on!

Give collard greens one more chance. We think this will be the version that sticks.

Collard greens have a reputation problem, and it’s not their fault!

Collard greens are one of the most nutritious vegetables you can put on your plate. A single cup delivers exceptional amounts of vitamin K, vitamin A, vitamin C, and calcium, along with fiber, folate, and powerful cancer-protective compounds that have made cruciferous vegetables a consistent focus of nutritional research. They deserve a spot on your table and they deserve to be cooked right.

Miriam’s pure clay cookware radiates gentle far-infrared heat that penetrates the greens evenly from all directions. No hot spots. No aggressive boiling.

Just steady cooking that transforms collard greens into something tender, rich, and deeply flavorful from the inside out.

If collard greens have never been your thing, this might be the version that changes your mind.

While most of us are filtering our water and storing it in plastic, cultures around the world have been purifying, cooling, and alkalizing their drinking water in pure clay for millennia. Not because it was all they had. Because it worked. And modern science is now confirming exactly why.

Miriam’s Water Jar draws contaminants naturally out through its semi-porous clay walls, no cartridges, no electricity, no chemicals, and zero plastic contact at any point. What goes in is tap water. What comes out 30 minutes later is naturally purified, cooled, and alkalized water that tastes noticeably cleaner and sweeter than anything coming out of a filter pitcher.
No replacement parts. No ongoing costs. No compromises. Just pure primary clay, handcrafted in the USA, tested free of lead and cadmium, and built to last for years.

If you have cleaned up your food and your cookware but have not thought about what you are storing your water in, this is your sign.

👉 Read this week's full blog post to learn exactly how clay pot water purification works, what it removes, and how it compares to modern filtration systems.

When a college student tests your water jar with strips and comes back with a five star review, you know the clay is doing its job!

Stephen tested his tap water before and after using the Miriam’s Water Jar and the results spoke for themselves! Cleaner water in 45 minutes, and water that tastes truly good in about two hours. No filter cartridges. No electricity. No plastic. Just pure primary clay doing what it has done for thousands of years.

We love that he mentions drinking tea too, because Miriam’s Water Jar is not just for drinking water, it keeps tea, lemonade, and any other drink you love naturally cool, clean, and clay-fresh too. 🫖

Most modern water filters rely on cartridges that need replacing every 1-2 months. Miriam’s Water Jar needs nothing replaced, ever. Pure clay works continuously, naturally drawing contaminants out of your water every single day. No plastic. No waste. No ongoing cost. Just clean water the way nature intended.
