Hello friends, shoppers and donors of Kadens Kloset: Decorah!
We have some bittersweet news; our beloved Director of Operations here at Decorah, Heidi, will be resigning from the Kloset due to accepting some new and exciting educational and career opportunities!
While we are SO VERY SAD to see Heidi go, we wish her WONDERFUL SUCCESS in her new adventures!
We have been so blessed by Heidi and her leadership even before becoming the Director of KK:Decorah!
What many of you may not know is that after months of volunteering at our Waterloo location, Heidi started out as our very first Development Director in 2017! Heidi worked tirelessly to plan and coordinate family events and new partnerships for the benefit of our KK Kiddos in the Cedar Valley area before moving to Decorah and taking over the Director role for the Kloset there!
Heidi has been instrumental in the development of Kadens Kloset becoming what it is today, and you will recognize her and Her son, Jalen, in our Kadens Kloset video: “Jalen’s Story”.
We are so grateful for the tender care and countless hours Heidi and her family have volunteered serving Kadens Kloset so well!
That being said, please bear with us here at Kadens Kloset: Decorah as we navigate a change in leadership. While we hope to make the transition as seamless as possible, we will ask that you hold off on donations and shopping for the time being as we get new volunteers up to speed and ready to serve our community! As soon as we are able to accept donations and appointments, we will make an announcement here on our fb page!
We are so grateful for our community and those we serve! We are extremely thankful to have had Heidi at the helm the past few years and and for the care and energy she dedicated to making sure EVERY CHILD in the Decorah and surrounding area knows they are seen, valued and supported!
