We had the most fun thing happen this week! Pam, a visitor from Allerton, Iowa stopped by. She and her daughter were wearing Iowa Indie Bookstore Tour T-shirts that she created!

Pam was immediately drawn to our Wild West Reads book display. She shared that she and her husband turned a grain bin on their property into an authentic Wild West saloon. She said it is all handcrafted and feels like they step back in time. She thought a couple of items from our Wild West Reads display would be perfect for the saloon.

The Iowa Indie Bookshop Tour is still in full swing!

After you stop into Dragonfly Books and get your passport stamped head on over to Coffee Break before perusing some of our favorite shops like JUBILEE, Jenny Wren Gift Market, Sissa | embodied living + soulful goods, and Blue Heron Knittery! And don’t forget to grab a sandwich at Water Street Deli before you hop back on the road (I highly recommend the turkey BLT!) 🚗 📚

📕 If you’re new to the Iowa Indie Bookshop Tour—Welcome! Iowa’s most wonderful indie book shops come together every summer to host a fun tour de book shops across the state. If you stop into Dragonfly Books or any participating indie Iowa bookshop then we will get you set up with a passport and tour map! 💡Shelf Life Book Club is a casual meet up every second Wednesday of the month at The Landing Market where you can chat about whatever you’re currently reading and enjoy the company of other book lovers!
