A NOTE FROM KENWHIRL APPLIANCE, Just a word of advice, holidays are coming up and you need your ovens for all of those delicious recipes you have. PLEASE do not self clean your ovens. That is very rough on the ranges and could cause it to break down just before you need it. So if you are worried about Aunt Martha seeing your dirty oven just tell her to chill out. Enjoy the seasons and if you need us we are here for you.

Was pleasantly surprised that the service that l received from your company's service person today. His name was Shawn, he was knowledgeable about the job and did not mind actually preforming the necessary task. This young man restored my faith with DTE contracting out service requests. 

Kenwhirl Appliance is looking for a customer service representative to work in our Livonia location. Must be a people person since alot of your day would be talking to customers on the phone and scheduling calls for our service techs. Thank you.I do my best to go to locally owned businesses and I have known about this HIDDEN GEM on North bound Telegraph just north of Ann Arbor Trail in Dearborn Heights since the late 90's (just south of the DQ). If you have any issues with any appliances and need a part or need to buy a quick used stove or washer, YOU WANT TO GO HERE.

You can't beat prices or the service. If you buy a part there you get a year warranty (nothing from Amazon) and they replaced my part no questions asked and no charge atall. I also really enjoy looking at vintage appliances and wow do they have a Philco Stove (not for sale) that is beautiful!
Also if you buy a used appliance you get a 3 month warranty.
I will always come back here and tell anyone I know about it!
Great friendly, informative and patient employees also. They close at 6 and of course I ran in at 5:45 and he had no problem staying to answer questions for me!!!!! I was home and doing laundry but the end of the night, should I really say thanks for that part though???? THANKS HONESTLY!!

Okay everybody there is only two more weeks until Thanksgiving. Make sure your oven is working and your dishwasher. That is the two most common items people need for the holiday. Also please do not use your self clean feature as it is rough on your oven and may cause it to break down before we can get out there to repair it. Have a blessed and joyful Thanksgiving day. Okay every year we ask you not to self clean your oven just before Thanksgiving in case it breaks and the part has to be ordered. Now is the time to do it. If your oven or dishwasher is not working please call us now instead of three weeks from now. It will make your holidays so much more pleasant.

25 years. That is how long this young lady has been working at Kenwhirl Appliance. She has seen many changes and many people come and go but she has always been a constant here at work. We are going to miss Hilda and all of her knowledge on running our business. After 25 years of customers testing your patience you have earned a well deserved retirement. Hilda after 25 years sleep in and enjoy your future life. Most of all thank you.

Okay as most of you know we sell at Kenwhirl Appliance water filters for refrigerators. We only carry OEM filters from the factory. When you come in for a new filter please bring your old one in with you. We want OEM and non original to cut open and see the difference ( if any ) in both of them. We will make a display to show the difference. We are trying new experiments for the appliance industry.
