🥹🎂 Kindred Roots is officially 6 MONTHS OLD. 🌿

What started as a little idea, a lot of prayer, and one big leap of faith has somehow turned into six months of baking, markets, early mornings, late nights, learning, growing, and watching new faces become familiar ones.

Six months of getting to make something with my own hands and send it from my kitchen to your table. 🤎

And I am so, so grateful.

Thank you for every order, every share, every market stop, every recommendation, every encouraging word, and every single time you’ve chosen to support this little bakery.

I don’t take any of it lightly.

You’ve GOT to be kidding me. 😂🤦🏼‍♀️

Today, my canopy officially gave up on me. Broken tent, Florida heat, wind, market chaos… just one of those days where you look around and think, of course this would happen today. 😂

But then I looked at my table.

I brought 50 loaves of bread to Halifax River Market today… and with an hour still left, I had TWO. LEFT. 🥹

And suddenly the broken canopy didn’t feel quite as important.

You guys show up for us through the rain, the heat, the wind, the slow days, the crazy days… apparently even the my-tent-is-literally-falling-apart days. 😂

Small businesses don’t get to keep doing what we love without people choosing to support us. Every loaf you buy, every friend you send our way, every post you share and every “I came just for you” means more than you probably realize.

The tent may be broken… but my heart is very, very full. 🤍

Thank you for continuing to show up for Kindred Roots. It’s because of you that little businesses like mine get to keep growing. 🌿🍞

Now excuse me while I go canopy shopping. 😂😭

Apparently this week we’re going from kneading dough to praise cardio. 😂🙌🏼

If you’ve been around Kindred Roots for a while, you know this little bakery has always been about more than bread to me. It’s about faith, community, showing up for people, and saying yes when God puts an opportunity in front of you.

Well… this Monday my “yes” apparently requires sneakers. 😂💃🏼

I’ll be joining Coach Elly for Praise Cardio at Full Circle Nutrition while my new friend Melissa is away, and I am SO excited!

Come move your body, lift your spirit, sweat a little (okay… probably a lot 😂), and praise the Lord with us. No dance experience required — just come ready to move and have FUN. 🙌🏼
