Wooden furniture needs a little breathing room when it goes into a storage unit. Never wrap your good tables or dressers tightly in plastic stretch wrap. Plastic traps moisture underneath and can ruin a finish when the daytime temperatures start spiking. Use old canvas tarps or moving blankets instead so the wood can breathe. 🪵

A new month is a good excuse to clear the path for what is next. Most of us collect a lot of extra projects over the winter, and now it is just taking up the space where your truck belongs. Clearing out the physical buildup makes room for better focus. Let’s get to work on reclaiming the workspace this week. 🛠️

It's also a good time to think about what we're building in our own lives, the memories we're making, the spaces we're creating, the people we're protecting. Storing electronics? Keep the original boxes if you can, they're designed to protect what's inside. If you don't have them, wrap items in bubble wrap and pack them in sturdy boxes with plenty of padding. Keep them in a temperature-controlled unit if possible. Electronics and extreme temperatures don't get along. 📱
