Bring your blankets, lawn chairs, and fellow Jedi (or Sith!) to enjoy six iconic films from the legendary Star Wars saga under the stars. Each movie night will feature trivia, prizes, and a fun community atmosphere, capped off with a movie at dusk.

Movie Lineup:

July 6 – Star Wars: Episode VI – Return of the Jedi
August 3 – Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace
September 7 – Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones
October 5 – Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith

Festivities begin at 6:30 live music with Say What? Trio. 7:15 p.m. with themed trivia and giveaways, followed by the featured film at dusk. Attendees are encouraged to come early to secure a great viewing spot and participate in the fun.

Location: 202 S. Main Street, Town of Davidson Parking Lot between Summit and Ben & Jerry’s.
Cost: Free admission
Time: Music with Bill Barnett at 6:30 pm, Trivia & prizes at 7:15 p.m.; movie begins at dusk

The final day of June Sweet Creams & Book Dreams Ben & Jerry’s Summer Camp 2026 has come and gone! 🍦📚
The campers saved the best for last by decorating their own custom-flavored ice cream cakes to take home and share with their families. Some lucky families even ended up with two cakes for the weekend!
Along the way, campers learned how to ice and pipe their ice cream creations, write on cakes, fold cake boxes, and pile on as many toppings as they could fit. The day was topped off with our traditional lunch at the Davidson Soda Shop.
What an amazing week of learning, creativity, friendship, and, of course, plenty of ice cream! Thank you to all of our campers and families for making this camp such a sweet success.
There are still a few spots available in our July and August camps. To register, visit Davidson Parks & Recreation. We can’t wait to make more sweet memories with a new group of campers!

Thanks for considering Ben & Jerry’s ice cream for your birthday party needs. Below is a description of each party and what is offered. Contact Karen at [email protected] or 704 892-0604. Each Party is available 7 days a week 10-11:30 am before the shop opens.
 Each party lasts 1.5 hours, begins with a tour of the scoop shop. Party goers will taste flavors from the dip case, pretend like they work at Ben & Jerry’s and see where the ice cream sleeps at night. 😊 All parties also include all paper goods, drinks & staff to take care of everything, just show up and enjoy. Parties are $325 for up to 10 kids, plus $25.95 per child after 10. Optional togo goodie bags that include Ben & Jerry’s logo bag with B&J sticker, tie dye bracelet and a Ben & Jerry’s pencil for $8, Our party options are:

 Tie Dye Shirt Party!-

Party goers will create their own tie dye tee shirts with the help of our fabulous staff & have an ice cream cake with flavors of your choosing. They will decorate a cookie, play games & do a craft that each child will take home. Don’t worry, we will show them how, Ben & Jerry’s style. We can provide a visit of Woody the Cow during the whole party for an additional fee.

 Create your own Milkshake Party!-

Party goers get into teams, select team names and create their own unique milkshake masterpiece! Once created, adults in attendance will vote on the best creation and the winning shake will be featured in our shop as our Scoop Shop Shake of the week (with full credit given to the winning team) They will decorate a dough pop and participate in Ben & Jerry’s trivia and word find. We can provide a visit of Woody the Cow during the whole party for an additional fee.

 Make your own Waffle Cone Sundae Party!-
Party goers will decorate a cookie, do a craft, make a waffle cone & Story time (depending on age). The most exciting part is when they get to create their very own Ben & Jerry’s ice cream Waffle Cone Sundae to eat at our toppings bar! Don’t worry, we will show them how, Ben & Jerry’s style. We can provide a visit of Woody the Cow during the whole party for an additional fee.
 Decorate your own Mini Cake party!-

They will decorate a cookie and learn how to roll their very own waffle cone & do a craft. The most exciting part is they get to decorate their very own mini cake to eat at the end of the party! We can provide a visit of Woody the Cow during the whole party for an additional fee

Sweet creams & Book Dreams ice Cream Camp – 2026
What a fantastic day at camp!

We started the morning at the law offices of Copeland & Richards, where campers learned about our judicial system and participated in a mock trial. It was a fun and engaging way to see how the legal process works and experience “the will of the people” in action.

Afterward, campers spent the rest of the day immersed in chess. Under the guidance of Miss Jessica, , an outstanding instructor, they learned chess fundamentals, explored strategic moves, and practiced important game concepts. From understanding the basics to developing new skills, everyone made great progress while having fun.

It was a day full of learning, critical thinking, and teamwork—another sweet success at Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream Camp! 🍦♟️⚖️

📚🍦 Sweet Creams & Book Dreams – Ben & Jerry’s Summer Camp Day 3 🍦📚
Today was packed with learning and adventure!
We started our day at Fifth Third Bank, the bank of Ben & Jerry’s Davidson, where campers learned about budgeting, saving money, and how banks help your money grow.
Next, we visited the Davidson Public Library, where campers learned the art of old-school letter writing, how to properly address an envelope, and even received their very first library cards!
Our final stop was the Davidson Post Office, where we mailed our letters and got a behind-the-scenes look at what happens after a letter drops into the mailbox. The campers were amazed to learn that for less than a dollar, a simple envelope can travel all the way across the country!
Tomorrow, we’re making our next move—CHESS! ♟️
We’re excited to welcome Davidson’s own author and chess professional, Jessica Martin, for a day of strategy, learning, and fun.

Sweet Creams and Book Dreams 2026 Camp has begun! 🍦📚

Our first day was all about ice cream, featuring fun inspired by Ben & Jerry’s and Davidson! Campers packed their cakes to decorate on Friday, decorated delicious cookies, made waffle cones, and tie-dyed T-shirts. Went to to get their shirts pressed with our logo!

Everyone had a fantastic time getting creative and enjoying sweet treats. Watch this space for more photos and camp adventures to come! ✨🍦📖🎨
