❤️ Special adopter needed for Lauren, an extremely shy dog. ❤️
Lauren was found in the middle of the highway. Her rescuer was unsuccessful in finding her a home but clearly tried their best to care for her. Because Lauren was living alone and had little to no socialization, she has struggled to connect and find a home. Thanks to our dedicated staff and volunteers, Lauren has come a long way. Now, all she needs is an adopter.

Her eyes are filled with bewilderment and sadness, a silent cry that tears at your heart. She looks like she’s on the verge of tears, her once vibrant spirit now broken and desolate. This 3-year-old shepherd, black and white, is suffering in a high-kill shelter and is scheduled to be euthanized tomorrow.

TO BE EUTHANIZED—ON HIGH ALERT, MUST EXIT IMMEDIATELY! She has had no comfort, no love, and now she faces a death sentence she doesn’t deserve. She’s scared and alone, lined up for the euthanasia room, pleading with her eyes for someone to save her. Can you be the one to give her a second chance before it’s too late?

These are our most adoptable/rescue friendly dogs.

All of these babies have been dog, and kid tested. Bridges, Stella, Pansy, Mikey, and Loki are cat friendly. They are all fixed, UTD on shots and heartworm status known, meds provided for those positive. These are amazing dogs and puppies and they are in desperate needs of homes or rescues.

Do any Rescues have room? Does anyone want to adopt? We can pre approve and cover vetting on these babies at Wayne county AC. There are 12! Dumped and ended up at AC. This is a very small AC and no room or real consistent staff to cate for 12 babies. I have provided capstar/dewormer/vaccines and will provide the pups with the rest of their series to approved adopters. These babies need out asap. Please share ..I am sire transport to other rescues is possible and we will split the litter if you ca not take all 12, just to give them a better chance. I will even microchip them for free to any rescue willing and in good standings.

Wanda has spent every day of her short life in heartbreaking isolation, with no one to offer a loving touch or a kind word. At just 5 months old, this sweet Pyrenees mix has known only the cold and uncaring walls of the shelter. She is sad & alone now, waiting in a high-kill shelter where her life hangs by a thread.

Despite her innocent eyes and gentle nature, she’s been overlooked and ignored, day after day, for five long months. Wanda’s story is one of silent suffering. She doesn't deserve this fate; she’s just a baby, facing a death sentence she can't understand.

Time is running out for Wanda. She’s on high alert and set to be euthanized immediately due to the shelter’s capacity for care. Each moment that passes is one less moment she has. Please don’t let her story end in tragedy. This sweet, scared puppy is begging for a second chance. She needs out ASAP, or tomorrow might be her last day.
