We just got this email from Lionel.
In an ongoing effort to reduce costs and lower retail pricing on the Ready to Run sets for 2026, all new RTR sets will no longer include the remote, the PEP track and one less piece of rolling stock. All sets can be run with the LionChief app on your phone or with the Universal Remote. The Universal Remote, PEP track, & additional rolling stock will all be available for separate sale purchase.
