I've been a little busy in the shop lately. I made and sold a custom purse. Sold another bag to a fellow visiting the valley from California. I currently have a commission for two new products. Pictures will be posted when completed. Bill is available yet to make rustic picture frames in any size you need. Together we also make small leather goods such as cell phone cases, etc. Give me a call if there is something you want to discuss. Happy Mothers' Day and Happy Nurses Week.

Well I got out into the shop yesterday to see where I wanted to start. Between sheep and lambs (fb Jacksons Done Running Ranch) and the coronavirus I've not been very productive in the shop. I made some masks and sent some crafting supplies to some young'uns I know in Oregon. I was surprised to see what stock I had made up and waiting for new homes. I thought I would post some pictures and see if there is some interest. I have just a couple of purses pre made from Pendleton wool. I do have additional wool cuts in various colors and patterns and would be happy to do a purse just for you. Also have a nice leather sheath made to fit a UH fixed blade.

Just a reminder too- we do custom wool work, leather work as well as small leather repairs and small welding projects.

Please PM me with questions or requests.

Bill has been busy in the shop again. That man is definitely a 'Jack of all trades.' He does wood working, leather work , and this week it was metal work. He had a request for a hand gun target. Something that could be taken out to safe place, set up for practice with a variety of exchangeable targets. When done shooting you can take it down and take home again. He came up with his design using mostly scrap steel that the buyer had and finished it off with some black spray paint. What do y'all think? What can he make or repair for you? PM us with questions.

We got a nice surprise. A women from NY that had bought her husband a cell phone case while visiting Darby in 2018 got in touch with us. Seems he dropped his phone and had to replace it and his case didn't fit the new phone. She sent Bill the model of the phone and the dimensions and he made a new one for him. They were very pleased. It's great to have return customers for custom work. What can we make for you?

Well, I entered two leather purses, a necklace and earrings set and two wooden art pieces in the county fair. My purses took a Blue and a Red ribbon. The jewelry set took a White ribbon (3rd). The wooden pieces got "thanks for participating." Next year I'll have a better idea of what they are looking for. Still not bad for the first time entering anything in the fair.

Hey everybody. I have gotten through family visits and finished up some "house-keeping". Now it's time to get busy in the shop again! I have some nice jewelry that I will be posting and some purses of Pendleton and/or wool. Speaking of Pendleton, while I was in Oregon last week I picked up a bit of wool and some really nice Levi quality denim. I'm thinking purses or patch pillows with the new wool. And maybe using the denim and some sheepskin or larger wool pieces I have to make some vests.
I'd love to make a custom piece for you- just message me or call 406-821-2071 and we can talk! Hope to hear ftom you soon.

Hi everyone. Well we got the store closed up and turned the keys back in. We spent a couple of weeks reorganizing our shops here on the ranch. (Also trying to get some spring chores done here.) I am at a point now where I can take orders and begin some new projects. Along that line I am considering making some sporans for those in our valley who participate in Celtic days and such. Please share this info with anyone that you feel may be interested. I will also be making more purses from the Pendleton wool that I have on hand. Please feel free to look at pictures and let me know what I can make for you or as a gift for someone you love.
Bill also has been getting his woodworking shop in order. He will be making some barn board picture frames that have been ordered and helping me finish assembly of a waterfall table out of some gorgeous live edge cedar we have.
We both will continue with custom leather work, small leather repairs and new jewelry or jewelry repairs. As always our work is guaranteed and our prices very reasonable.
Remember too we are right here in Darby Montana and if needed able to ship or deliver. Thanks, hoping to hear from you soon. We can be reached here on fb, by email at [email protected], or by phone at 406.821.2071.

Well folks, this is it for the Darby storefront. Today is the last day of sales. After this you may reach us still through this fb page or by calling us at 406-821-2071. If you call please leave a message as we will be doing more fishing and sightseeing now that we don't have the store to manage.
We will continue to work in our shops on the "ranch" doing the the projects we so love to do. I will be creating with leather and Pendleton wool, making jewelry, and sewing. I will also be available to help you learn how to use your sewing machine, use a beading loom, or work with strung beads. Bill and I will continue small leather repairs, new leather crafting projects, and woodworking projects. I will do some classes for kids on an as requested basis. Call if you're looking to keep the young'ins busy this summer.
Thanks to those who have supported us especially those "regular" customers. It's been a pleasure to meet and make new friends. Remember we're still in Darby, just a phone call away.
