🎃 Join the Boo Bash by the Bay Festival Committee! 🎃

Do you love community events? Have a passion for marketing, sponsorships, volunteer coordination, entertainment, logistics, fundraising, or simply making great things happen?

Bay Area Events is seeking enthusiastic, community-minded individuals to help plan and execute Boo Bash by the Bay, coming to the USS Alabama Battleship Memorial Park on Saturday, October 24th, 2026.

This family-friendly Halloween festival will feature live music, food trucks, vendors, trick-or-treating, costume contests, pumpkin decorating, inflatables, pet adoptions, foam parties, family activities, giveaways, and more.

As part of our "Spooking Into the Holiday Season" initiative, the event will also help kick off Hunter's Heart for the Holidays with a holiday gift collection benefiting local children and families.

We are currently seeking committee members to assist with:

• Sponsorship & Community Partnerships
• Marketing & Social Media
• Entertainment & Activities
• Vendor Relations
• Food Truck Coordination
• Volunteer & Staffing Coordination
• Operations & Logistics
• Decorations & Festival Experience
• Fundraising & Community Initiatives

Committee members must:

• Attend monthly planning meetings (in person or virtually)
• Be available on event day, Saturday, October 24th, 2026
• Represent the festival professionally and enthusiastically
• Work collaboratively to help create an exceptional experience for our community

There is no cost to serve on the committee. Any pre-approved expenses incurred on behalf of the festival will be reimbursed.
