Back then, buying an album wasn't a 3-second decision.
It was a commitment.
You studied the cover. Read the back. Checked the song list. Asked your friends. Looked at your wallet. Changed your mind three times.
Because once you spent that money, you were living with that record for a while.
And somehow that made the music mean more.
Today we have access to 100 million songs.
But there was something special about standing in a record store for an hour trying to decide which ten songs were worth taking home forever.
