87% ! ! ! ! ! !
This is partially why I had to go out of business. Doing my taxes and seeing what ETSY charges. They got 87% of my sales in fees and marketing (of which they do on their own, I didn't pay for extra advertising because it is a lottery). Total and utter rip off! This is not for a small business owner, this is for people who mass produce or have money to throw away. I did it to earn money and I loved doing it but when you are giving them 87% of your sale, then you have to mark it up so much no one will shop your store. Very disappointed. Just completely shocked.
