Where we'll happily talk books with you, help you hunt down your next favorite read, or let you wander the shelves in peace until something finds you.

We like our books a little strange, our history a little haunted, our recommendations personal, and our community close-knit.

We're not a big-box bookstore.

We're your little independent bookshop tucked inside an old house in Dandridge — and we wouldn't want to be anything else.

It’s Thursday! And you know what that means…

AUTHOR REVEAL THURSDAY!!!

Our lineup for After Hours: Horror Edition is AMAZING, and today we’re excited to introduce…

STEPHANIE EDWARDS!

A Tennessee native and former journalist, Stephanie is an author of Southern suspense whose stories bring together some of our favorite things: atmospheric Southern settings, suspense, romance, mystery, and—of course—a few GHOSTS.

Stephanie has been writing professionally since she landed her first newspaper column at only 13 years old! After building a career in communications, she finally decided in 2018 that it was time to fulfill a lifelong dream of writing a book.

A visit to the eerie South Carolina Lowcountry sparked the idea for her debut novel, The Haunting on Palm Court, which became the beginning of her Isle of Palms Suspense series.

Since then, Stephanie has continued creating stories filled with Southern atmosphere, supernatural happenings, romance, and plenty of suspense—including Lowcountry Charm and her newest release, Charleston Grit!

If your perfect read includes sweet tea, Southern charm, a mystery to solve, and a ghost or two lurking nearby, Stephanie might just be an author you need to add to your TBR.
