We are a passionate, community-focused quilt shop located right here in the Deep Springs area of Dandridge, TN. We pride ourselves on offering high-quality fabrics, notions, and education to local creators. We are looking for a few friendly, creative, and energetic team members to help inspire our customers and keep our store running smoothly.
Role Overview
As a Quilt Shop Associate, you will be the face of our shop, providing exceptional customer service and sharing your love for sewing.
Key Responsibilities:
• Customer Service: Greet customers, offer advice on fabric and color selection, and help pull materials for their projects.
• Fabric Cutting: Accurately measure and cut fabrics from bolts, roll remnants, and package quilt kits.
• Shop Upkeep: Restock shelves, maintain store displays, and keep the sales floor neat and clean.
• POS & Operations: Process sales transactions, handle cash, and assist with opening/closing checklists.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Basic knowledge and experience with sewing and quilting.
• Strong math skills for calculating yardage and cutting fabrics accurately.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with an engaging, pleasant demeanor.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs (lifting and moving fabric bolts).
• Retail, cash handling, and point-of-sale (POS) especially quilt shop experience are a plus.
Job Details:
• Position Types: 1 Permanent Part-time and 2 Seasonal positions are available
• Schedule: Permanent Part-time must be available to work four days a week out of a rotating Monday through Saturday schedule. Seasonal is the same however only for the months of June through August 2026 and can be scheduled from 2 to 4 days a week.
• Pay Rate: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour bi-weekly.
