Thereās something special about ideas once written on a napkin becoming reality...
A lot goes into planning weekends like this.ļæ½More than most people would ever notice.
The logistics. The headcount. Food. Drinks. Shade. Keeping people comfortable in 90-degree heat. Making sure friends, family, coworkers, kids, and complete strangers all somehow feel like they belong in the same place.
And then thereās the part people really donāt see.
The vibe.
The merch. The music. The paddock setup. The photography. Even down to the tones and filters used to capture the moment. Because at the end of the day, thatās really all this is, trying to create a feeling people remember.
A place where vision turns into reality.ļæ½Where years of ideas, experiences, failures, and late-night conversations slowly start becoming something tangible.
You canāt over-plan these things. But you also canāt show up unprepared. Itās a balance of structure and chaos. Of simply saying: āThis is us.ā
And over the weekend, I can confidently say we knocked it out of the park.
Everybody felt welcomed. Comfortable. Included. Thatās surprisingly hard to do. Especially today, where so many brands feel overly polished and completely disconnected from real people.
But somehow with , things tend to fall into place naturally. I feel like it comes from growing up in a family where the doors always open and āweāre not perfect, weāre real.ā
Building a real brand is nearly impossible. You need attention, timing, money, sacrifice, and a little luck. But weekends like this remind me weāre on the right path.
Maybe these are the glory days.ļæ½Or maybe years from now weāll laugh and say:ļæ½āRemember how much effort we put into our first race weekend at Lime Rock?ā
Either way, thatās the beauty of the journey.
Staying true to yourself.ļæ½Not chasing every dollar.ļæ½Not losing your morals for quick attention.
ļæ½And most importantly having faith that God will guide this thing where itās supposed to go.
On Saturday we finished second overall, but leaving the track felt like a win far bigger than a trophy.
