Storytelling is a powerful tool in just about every facet of business - leading, sales, presenting, and, in our opinion, it belongs in your corporate gifting. Here's why:

As Hines was planning their Investment Management Conference in the bucket list worthy destination for Reykjavik, Iceland, they came to us seeking a welcome gift to set 200+ attendees up for the week. Activities for the week included visiting the sky lagoon, a city walking tour, a foodie tour, whale/puffins watching, an ATV tour, mountain biking, a volcano tour, horseback riding and several team dinners at scenic spots throughout Reykjavik.

The typical run-of-the-mill conference swag bag with branded pens, lanyards and cheap throwaways was 100% a no go (as it should always be in our opinion), and they needed welcome gifts that reflected the time, effort and expense that went into planning the conference.

Our Goal: We wanted to enhance an already once-in-a-lifetime trip of a conference with a welcome gift that spoke to who Hines is as a brand. Additionally, we needed to highlight what Iceland had to offer, create a sense of excitement for the days ahead, and leave attendees with a feeling of nostalgia long after they returned home.

Strategy: We wanted the gift items to be useful and practical, feature an eco-friendly find, showcase Iceland, and include a luxury item that reflected the reputation Hines has as one of the largest and most respected real estate organizations in the world. Oh, and it all needed to be travel-friendly!
