As many of our Christian cousins begin Lent today, it’s a beautiful reminder that Easter is coming.

At our bookstore, Easter isn’t just a day it’s a season to reflect on the Savior’s sacrifice and rejoice in His Resurrection.

Come find meaningful gifts, study resources, and reminders, that because of Jesus Christ there is hope.

In President Oaks new book, "Learning the Great Fundamentals", he says:

"...those who dwell in the telestial kingdom can be characterized by what they did not do."

"...those who will dwell in the terrestrial kingdom are characterized by what they have done."

"Those who attain the Celestial glory are characterized not just by what they have refrained from doing or by what they have done, but by what they have become."

I love what he said about Celestial glory. As we walk with Jesus Christ each day and make Him the focus of our daily lives, He shapes us, little by little, into becoming like Him!

Good evening everyone! We hope yall are all well and warm! With the temple being closed tomorrow and the ice staying around in lots of places, we will be closed as well, Wednesday January 28.

Stay safe and be sure to drink your hot chocolate!

Here's a small description of each version:

New International Reader’s Version (NIrV)
Designed for easy understanding with very simple language and short sentences. Great for children, new readers, or anyone who wants Scripture to be very clear and straightforward.

New King James Version (NKJV)
Keeps the beauty and structure of the King James Bible while updating the language to modern English. A more literal translation that still reads smoothly.

Thomas Nelson New King James Version
The same NKJV translation, published by Thomas Nelson. Known for quality bindings, clear layouts, and helpful formatting, but the text itself is identical to the NKJV.

New International Reader’s Version for Kids
Uses the same easy-to-read NIrV translation but designed specifically for children. Layout and features help kids understand Scripture, not just read it.

English Standard Version (ESV)
A more word-for-word translation that stays close to the original Hebrew and Greek. Popular for serious study and teaching.

New International Version (NIV)
Balances accuracy and readability using a thought-for-thought approach. One of the most widely used modern Bible translations.

New Living Translation (NLT)
Written in very clear, conversational English. Focuses on communicating meaning and is especially easy to read.

New Revised Standard Version Updated Edition (NRSVue)
A scholarly translation updated with the latest manuscript research. Known for accuracy, clarity, and use in academic and theological settings.
