It is with a heavy heart that we share the news that our beloved owner, Laura “Ivy” May, has passed away. Laura lived courageously with the chronic autoimmune disease Scleroderma, meeting each day with remarkable strength, grace, and determination. Her life’s greatest passions were twofold: building The Ivy House into the beloved fine china and tablescape destination it is today, and pouring love into her nephews—Thomas III, Sterling Jr., and Warren—whose lives she profoundly shaped. The Ivy House will continue to remain strong, active, and committed to the same excellence and personal service that Laura championed. Our team will continue her vision and honor her legacy through The Ivy House!
We will be closed on Tuesday, November 25 to observe her celebration of life.
