In just two months, one of Georgia’s tastiest events kicks off in downtown Buchanan, where the Haralson County Fried Pie Festival turns a small-town Saturday into a full day of sweets, music, and family fun. Set around the historic courthouse area, this September 19, 2026 festival runs from 9 AM to 4 PM and brings fried pie fans out for apple, peach, blackberry, strawberry, cherry, chocolate, coconut cream, banana cream, and plenty of other flavors. The Haralson County Historical Society presents the event, and the 2026 festival has already announced 30 fried pie vendors. Visitors can browse more than 200 booths with food, handmade items, crafts, and local vendors while enjoying live music, a DJ, and open mic performances. The day also includes a car and bike show, quilt show, games, rides, co****le, kids’ activities, and a pie eating contest in small-town Georgia, worth planning for before summer slips away.
