Happy Mother’s Day!

I got to spend the day with my daughters and my mom, along with my husband and my brother. We took the girls to their first professional sports event, Texas Rangers vs Chicago Cubs, and they loved it! I think their favorite part was the gift shop lol

I’ve seen several creators post their teacher gift ideas, and most of the time there’s at least a dozen “teachers only want gift cards” comments.

That’s not true. Most teachers truly appreciate all teacher appreciation gifts. ❤️

Yes, gift cards are great! But after teaching for almost 10 years, I can honestly say I loved the handwritten notes, the homemade gifts, the little desk trinkets and wall signs, and even the mugs 😉 no joke, I actually still have some of them all these years later.

Teachers know parents are doing the best they can with their time and budget.

I think social media sometimes makes moms feel like if they can’t give a big gift card, they shouldn’t give anything at all, and that makes me sad because appreciation doesn’t have to look one specific way.
