Dream Tip Tuesday!
Time...you either feel like there's not enough, or too much. Typically, it's the former that presses into our souls day in and day out as we struggle to keep up with the daily grind. Before we know it, the day swallows us in chores, job, kids, pets, bills, etc.
To some, it's obvious to say it's important to make time for self-care. And, to some, they feel like it's impossible. Well, my friends, I am here to be the bearer of good news and tell you that having more time is completely POSSIBLE.
When I ask people if they write down their dreams their response typically goes something like, "no, but I should." First, try not to say "should" as this creates an invisible pressure. Second, you have to do what feels right for you...AND if your response is that you don't have enough TIME to write...that's where a shift can happen.
Two tips here in regard to recording your dreams. Maybe three.
One - you don't have to physically write! There are many benefits to hand writing your dreams, and I get for some that doesn't work. Use your phone to type, or voice record on your phone - that's the easiest way. Many dream apps allow voice recording. This makes life easier and takes less...time!
Two - choose a time of day (preferably upon waking) to write your dreams. Be consistent! When you remember a dream, record the same time every day. You'll build mental muscle that way and let your brain and subconscious know you're serious. If
Three - take an inventory of your daily tasks and desires. Write those out! Estimate how much time they'll take. If you feel like writing your dreams won't fit, see if there is something you can take off your list or move based on its importance.
We can't "create" time p***e, yet we can create space to take on the deeper, more meaningful inner work that just may benefit us more than doing dishes!

Interested in exploring your dreams more? Join me this Friday at the Back Mountain Jewelry & Rock Shop in Dallas for my monthly dream meetup The Dreamer's Journey: A Dream Share Group . I'd love to grow a community of dreamers! Even if you don't have a dream to share you can learn and contribute to someone else's dream. Hope to see you there!
