Christopher Farr l Cloth Marimba wall covering in Grass and Sherwin Williams Take Five for the win. Rena lamps in moss green from Uttermost play off the patterns perfectly!

Guest Room Ready!
Thoughtful layering creates a welcoming design for guests. This was a fun project with the help of Thibaut, Hartmann Forbes, Lisa Capdavilla at Culp, Serena & Lilly wallpaper, Fabricut, EC Dicken, and Visual Comfort. Art provided by Dallas Artist Marianne Gargour and Cameron Evans, age 7. 😊

It is with a very heavy heart that we share the passing of our beloved Mercer Asay with our interior design community. Mercer passed peacefully on Sunday, May 10, surrounded by family and friends.

Mercer was a staple at Rutherford’s, working with the family for over thirty years to build the business we all know and love today. His dry sense of humor, relentless support, keen math skills, eye for design, and heartwarming smile will be remembered by clients and colleagues alike.
