Word. What’s better than one white woman on a platform, but two? We actually don’t love being in front of the camera as much as it looks. We are more behind the scenes gals, literally dedicating our careers to developing peoples’ skills, confidence, life events, knowing this can be a movement -- use our white privilege to create a platform for those who are othered.
F***y pACTivist is another iteration on this same sentiment; I see the smartest, hardest working and most compassionate women (yeah, lots of unicorns, I swear) tearing their guts out to try to find a shred of energy to chip away at the many problems we are facing, and then beating themselves up for “not doing enough,” or not making a “large enough impact,” or one with “too small a reach.”
I want to find a way to make it easy for them to do it all, within a supportive community filled with collective power. Are we supporting local womxn commerce? Yes. Are we empowering others to put themselves or their ideas out there even though it’s terrifying? Yes. Are we feeling surprised, empowered and terrified every day by the responses and support we get from everyone. YES. And it’s beautiful. Let’s try to make this something!

Hey all you beautiful people, I want to talk about me for a sec, I know you guys don't know me and let's be honest, I'm just another white girl out here with an opinion, but I'm trying to share more about myself and why ***ypactivist means so much to me, so here it goes. I am a mom of a 16 month old and pregnant with my second. There isn't a day that goes by that I am not grateful for the privilege I have to access birth control and reproductive healthcare that allowed me to control when, if and with whom I created a family. These are privileges that I believe should be rights. I am here to fight for our access to these rights and to make a world for my daughter where family planning is a given, not a dream.

Georgia says upon first heartbeat
Ohio charges a measly $500 fine for doctors providing abortions yet covers around $50 million for 10 years of Ohio teen pregnancies
Missouri only allows one with a medical emergency
Louisiana, Mississippi, Kentucky just generally don’t want you to access abortion. Ever.
