This month I joined a soap challenge club where we learned a new salt crystal soap design. It involves coarse salt and cold process soap combined to look like natural rock formations. I’m pretty pleased with my results. The inspiration for these bars was this beautiful pink amethyst geode I found online. I wanted them to look like natural stone so the bar is uncolored except a mica swirl. The salt is naturally colored pink Himalayan sea salt. The fragrance smells like rose scented marmalade. They will be available for sale in the shop mid February.
