I did jump back into the wood shop (studio) and make myself a shelf thing to go beside my recliner. Clutter seems to follow me around. Hehe..

For those of you who may wonder why I haven't posted much woodworking stuff lately.. I have been concentrating on digital art.

Yahoola Woodcraft is now a part of Yahoola Creek Studios. ( No website yet, It's coming.)

This particular image of the Eiffel Tower has approximately 30 or so hours of work into it. Once I get this new venture up and running, I will be making more cool stuff for Yahoola Woodcraft. Thanks. 😀

I finally finished building my 4 string, flying V guitar. It's a 4 string because I bought a pre-made, cigar box neck blank several years ago. Next time I will just build the neck. The top is held on with magnets and the bridge. The body is an old kitchen cutting board. The top is made from oak that I cut into parkay pieces and glued together. The fret markers are brass.

Sorry about my lack of consistent posts.. I have been busy creating killer art for a new online store I'm gonna build soon. Plus. I kinda suck at social media. 😃

Here are the pictures from the Dahlonega Christmas fair. This was my 3rd year and sad to say, the worst in sales.

I got the usual "this is really cool" comments and then they move on. I did make sales, just not as good as previous years. It's sort of depressing.

Well, I guess I'll spend the next week or so (after Christmas) taking photos and posting on Etsy.

So.. I tend to build/create in bulk. I'm getting ready for the Christmas fair.

These are my latest mix media paintings and custom shou sugi ban frames. All the figures are raised and kind of 3D-ish. 😃 The material for that is a trade secret. Haha.. The paint is metallic acrylics.

The various ocean swirls give off a 3D effect when you see them in person.

Obviously, I went with an ocean theme. The tall one is full of mostly prehistoric animals. The blue frame one is all whales and I like to put a mermaid most of them... but not all.

I think it all came out pretty darn good. Now the hard part... pricing. I'm not good with that.

Oh... He, he.. I thought it would be cool to design and make a fire truck. (Loofahsaurus are pretty much done, just need to assemble.) Ya, I work slow. 😁
