Happy Friday, y'all!

Today's special is Enchiladas (beef or cheese), served with beans, rice, a salad, and a small drink.

Also, a moment of silence for our pregnant feral one. She has officially wandered off to maternity leave. We won't admit it publicly, but we're already missing her. Turns out she did a whole lot more around here than we gave her credit for.

So when you come in today, be nice to the rest of the crew. We're adjusting to life without our large-and-in-charge coworker, and emotions are running high. No sudden movements, no complaints about the weather, and if someone looks a little frazzled, just nod politely and hand over a tip.

Come eat lunch, shop local, support small business, and help us survive this first Friday without our favorite feral employee.

And don't forget... KARAOKE IS TOMORROW NIGHT!

It’s Thursday and the bacon avocado cheeseburgers are calling your name!!!

Today’s special comes with chips and a small drink, and honestly if you add bacon and avocado to anything it automatically becomes self care.

Also… our pregnant feral one is officially starting maternity leave after today... so if you stop by, please quietly tell her you’ll miss her. No sudden movements. No direct eye contact. Do not approach too quickly with questions or paperwork. Snacks may help.

Don’t worry though, she’ll still be roaming around the store and probably the bar too… large and in charge… singing karaoke this Saturday until little man decides it’s finally time to make his big debut.

That rain last night sure was beautiful. We hope everybody stayed safe and didn’t have too much damage. We only lost a couple trees over here, so if your backyard looks like a tornado tried redecorating, come tell us about it over lunch lol

Happy Tuesday from The Country Mart!

Today’s café special is a Patty Melt and Lord have mercy… she’s a beauty. Grilled onions, toast, melty cheese, secret sauce and probably enough goodness to make you wanna take a nap afterward.

Café is open 11 AM–2 PM so come let our café ladies cook for you while you pretend you were “just stopping by for one thing” and somehow leave with snacks, beer, candles, freshies, local goodies and a trunk full of meat market treasures. We see you.

We’ve got fresh cut steaks, sausage, bacon, cold beer, local wines from Mil Veranos, gifts from our awesome local vendors and all the small-town chaos and nonsense you know and love.

And don’t forget… KARAOKE this Saturday at Down Under!

UPDATE......John, Thomas and I have been practicing and are Starting to teach mahjong classes at the Country Mart this afternoon from 4 till 7 or 8 so you can show up anytime. Tomorrow we will probably start earlier since its Sat. We will have open play and training most every afternoon and evening for prob a couple of weeks. At some point he will start opening up on Tuesday for steak night and Mahjong (at some point have tournaments) and we will start the D'Hanis Mahjong society which will be a group (like bunco) of ladies that just want to play and socialize once or twice a month. John said we could meet in the Cafe if we want to.

Happy Memorial Day from all of us at The Country Mart 🇺🇸

If you forgot the ice, the beer, the steaks, the sausage, the wine, the hamburger meat, the hot dogs, the buns, the snacks, the barbecue fixin’s… don’t worry, baby, we got you!!!

Our café is open today from 11 AM to 2 PM serving our regular menu, so come by and let our ladies cook for you while you enjoy the holiday.

And please… be extra nice to our pregnant feral one this week....It’s her last week before maternity leave. Avoid sudden movements. Do not approach without snacks. If she growls, just slide her a piece of fruit or a snack cake and keep it moving 🇺🇸

We’ve got the meat market stocked up, plenty of cold beer, local wines, snacks, and all the fun local vendor goodies too. Perfect day to shop local before the grill gets fired up.

This Memorial Day, we remember. 🇺🇸

Tomorrow is about more than cookouts, cold beer, and a long weekend. It’s about honoring the brave men and women who gave their lives so we could enjoy the freedoms we often take for granted.

Freedom is never free.

So while we spend time with family and friends this weekend, let’s also take a moment to remember the heroes who never made it home and the families who carry that sacrifice every single day.

From all of us at The Country Mart, thank you to our fallen heroes, our veterans, and our military families. We are forever grateful. ❤️🤍💙
