I've been SUPER busy lately. Too busy to post. But thankfully not too busy to read. My husband and I are currently trying to move and we're finishing out the school year as well. Finished the first book from The Fallen series today. This copy actually includes books 1 and 2, but after book 1, I'm personally not so interested in book 2. While the story concept is good, I found myself bored by the action sequences at times. And despite the shirtless angel on the cover, there is no romance to this book. It's also very male centric. Not a bad book, just not my cup of tea. 3 stars.

This book ALMOST ended up on my "Did Not Finish" list, but the fact that it took more than a month for the hold I had on it at the library to come in as well as the well-read state this copy exists in, I pushed through and was pleasantly surprised. This book is basically twilight rewritten, but with angels instead of vampires. But the good news is that it is almost as addictive of a read as twilight. I will also say that it's not as dark as other supernatural romances I've read lately. I will say that there is a boring section toward the beginning of the book that you have to make it through before it gets good. I was zoning out for almost the first 1/3 of it overall. But I just borrowed the second book in this series to read on my kindle so 🤷‍♀️ I'd give Hush, Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick 4 out of 5 stars.

My mom actually recommended this book to me and I listened to the audiobook while cleaning today and yesterday. As a neurodivergent person who has always struggled with cleaning tasks, this book definitely hit home and gave some really good tips and ideas! This book does not shame you for struggling with mess or having too much stuff and doesnt require you to follow a complex system. Everything comes back to having only as many belongings as will fit in the proper container. It honestly reminds me a lot of KC Davis' book How to Keep House While Drowning.

5 stars for this clean read!
