Three seasons ago was the last year our family was together as a sales unit. Mom and dad decided to retire that year and I decided going forward to allow others to run it on percentage for fund raising. The next year we lost mom to cancer, and then just 6 short weeks ago we almost lost dad to a stroke. Him being the tough old bird he is not only did he pull through but is driving me crazy in the recovery process after coming home Wednesday from in faciality rehab. After every season I made sure to thank my family and employees for that years success. This time I thank you, our friends and clients, for 21 years of success. Your family blessed us with friendship and loyalty. Without you year in year out we would not have been a successful business.

So what is next? I have made the decision to close the doors this year and going forward. I will miss the season, good and bad, but time with family out ways any desire to continue. Many will notice that my custom trailer/stand is setup almost right across the Highway and I believe they will put it to use for many seasons going forward. They are a new group, second season, on that location that is family operated and family owned. Last year they were always a match on product brand, quality, and pricing as us. If you are looking for a new location, and I am not being paid to say this, they should get a look and opportunity to become your new go to.

We open this FRIDAY at 2pm.

After a year off due to supply shortages we will be back open and ready for business for those looking to get there fireworks fix opening weekend. This year we have partnered with the mens group from Lifeline Assembly here in Cushing. Of course me and dad will be there a lot as well, but the Lifeline Assembly group will be our main working body.

Also special note after 20 years we will stay closed and not open this Sunday, Father's Day, to allow all the dads working to have time with their respected families. So we open Friday, with regular hours Saturday, then closed Sunday before going back to regular business hours Monday without days off until closing late on the 5th of July.

Stay calm its just for a year. Due to issues this year out of our control we will be keeping the doors closed and the stand location empty. Why? Compounding issues, world wide, over the last 15-18 months has left the fireworks industry experiencing major issue with supply. For us that meant not getting the volume or the quality of product that we have set as our standard and most clients have come to expect. This was not a decision that came easy but one after 20 years we knew we had no control over.

Dorothy Elliott passed away Friday July 10th after a hard fought battle with cancer. She was as much a staple at the stand for years as my dad and I. Many individuals this past season asked about her and dad and were then informed of her battle. For all the hugs/love/prayers that you sent back to her thank you from the Elliott family. Love you mom....

Our 19th season ended with not only a successful season but also a promising future for our family owned fireworks business. The Cushing Dugout Club involvement was a true God sent solution to a crossroads that our business had come to with mom's current battle with Cancer. Many clients spoke to me personally or via messenger/text through out the season about how it didn't seem the same with out mom and dad being there daily on site. A lot of love and caring was shown and messages given to me to bring back to mom at home. Personally mom is very thankful and moved by the messages. She wanted the Cushing Dugout Club to know just how happy she is to find out the future direction of the business is still creating smiles and being held to the standard she was part of creating. From the entire Elliott family we would like to thank the Cushing Dugout Club and its member along with Cushing Tiger Baseball Players for their commitment to this season. Also we would like to personally thank all existing and new clients for their support of our family and to such a great group of individuals with the club. We are looking forward to working with you for many years to come.
