Good morning on this fine summer day! It’s July 1st, and I don’t know where the year has gone. We’ve noted a lot of visits to our page, yet our page hasn’t had any updates is a loooong time! So here is what’s new at Lily & Sparrow!

1st- We also have a hobby farm (Red Gate Farm - no FB page…yet). We have expanded from chickens, bees, and gardens to dairy, and have welcomed our cow, Margaret, and her calf! This is largely why Lily & Sparrow has been so quiet.

2nd- We homeschool and have had a graduate this year. Who knew this would be so time consuming 😂

3rd- COVID. It just messes with everything.

4th- This is probably the biggest thing. Lily & Sparrow is moving in a different direction, away from jewelry and accessories (primarily from spent bullets). While these will still be available, we are focusing on Vintage Made New. This is all about those really cool things Grandma (or even Grandpa) have left you and all you can think about when you see them (or the box they’re in) is “oh the memories and sentimental value - but what the heck am I going to do with this stuff?!” We can help! Need to find a place for displaying something? On it! Gorgeous piece of jewelry, but you’ll never wear it? No problem. Antique tool from Grampa’s garage? Don’t toss it. These things can be displayed, repurposed, or remade into something extraordinarily precious (yes, I’m aware of how hokey that sounds). 😂

I’m finding I have a passion for the past and it’s stories, and love to incorporate it with the here and now.
