The Green Olive Tree

The Green Olive Tree Thrift store That summer, the Green Olive Tree was born at the Brownsville Market Fruit Stand. The Green Olive Tree is staffed 100% by volunteers.

In 1979, several Christian women were discussing how quickly children outgrow their clothes and decided that Crozet needed a place for folks to share outgrown, usable clothing. We have had various homes since then; we moved to our current location in 2011. We continue to be blessed by our Lord with support from our community through volunteers and donations. Many people benefit from the hours of service and the generous donations of the residents in Crozet and surrounding communities.
