Same great coffee inside, no matter the bag style.
All of these bags are legitimate packages from us, so why the assortment? We ordered new bags at the beginning of the year; however, when they arrived, we found some structural and functional issues we weren't pleased with, and we rapidly found a solution with the supplier. However, even with a solution, bags take weeks, if not months, to produce and ship to our facility. Between these two shipments, we needed a readily accessible option to keep the 2.2lb bags available, which is where the black bag came into play.
With the arrival of the second shipment of bags, we will begin using them this week, and you can expect to begin to see the blue bags in your orders.
Maintaining the quality and integrity of our coffees is a top priority, and these updated bags will do that. However, they don't meet the sustainability level we originally sought in a compostable material. While we get through this bag, we are taking the necessary steps to return to a more sustainable packaging material.
