Love this! Shelter in the storm. Wishing peace for you ladies 😃

Oftentimes, when life is coming at us quickly, we can become overwhelmed by what’s going on around us.

When we only use our natural senses to experience what’s taking place while we’re in the midst of troubling situations, we miss the opportunity to rely solely on God and trust all He has promised us.

We’re reminded in Colossians 3:2 to “Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth.”

So, friend, be aware of — but not distracted by — the storms you’re experiencing.

They don’t change God’s presence, power, protection or provision.
He is indeed with you, showing you which way to go and offering you shelter in the midst of the storm.

Checking in with you ladies...are you partaking in daily activities right now that you love?! I have shared this before and this seems like a good time to share it again 😃 I have been doing my best to "love my life" and find joy in the everyday/mundane right now so there is no time to doubt, worry, hate, or fear. And there seems to be a LOT of that circulating right now. Have I had my "struggle bus" moments? Yup! BUT, pushing through those moments and embracing the small & big moments throughout each day and CHOOSING to focus on normalcy and trying to improve these "moments" each day really seems to help!

I have found JOY in brainstorming/creating solutions on how to continue to run our business in new ways. I have found JOY in having my boys at home (and frustrations...it's an ever evolving emotion) 😅. I have found JOY in slower days and less busy-ness. I have found JOY in spending more time praying and focusing on my spiritual health. I have found JOY in chocolate & popcorn mid-day and no bedtime routine at night 😁 I have found JOY in letting all the social pressures go. I have found JOY in letting go of comparison and standards (because it is quite apparent that we all adapt/improvise/overcome in our own ways). AND THAT IS AWESOME! It feels so good to not feel like a failure for not doing EVERYTHING and doing it or to match someone else's . Because right now, there is no standard. Hallelujah!! We are free to be our own person because we are all in "uncharted territory". Forced to reflect & grow through what we go through.

I'm excited to see all of the personal and spiritual growth on the other side of this! So tell me, what have you been finding JOY in?! Let us know in the comments 😃

So I finally made it happen 🤩 WELCOME!! HI!! HELLO!!

Welcome to our Life + Style blog... a virtual space where we can connect/interact and share bits & pieces of things that influence us, inspire us, and direct us as the team behind the Hazel Maries brand. For those of you that participated in our Influencer Event last spring...you know this is a long time coming. But I finally made it happen! And we are excited to get more connected!
