Want to know who else will be sitting in the living room with you at this retreat?

She has a jewelry business and craft that she's been pouring her heart into it for years.

She might be flying in from Argentina or Australia or somewhere in Europe. She might be driving or flying in from another state.

What they have in common is who they are.

She is kind-hearted and compassionate. She probably has a rescue animal or a small ranch with horses she adores. She has a stash of turquoise she keeps coming back to. She loves the process of making jewelry and wants to learn the business of selling it on her own terms.

Let me tell you about my favorite place on Earth.

Crested Butte is one of those magical mountain towns. Old Victorian buildings painted in bright colors. Wildflowers everywhere into early fall. Elk Avenue, the main street, is full of independent shops and restaurants you can't find anywhere else.

There's a famous local jewelry store I'll take you to.

There are bakeries where the line out the door is worth standing in.

There are coffee shops where you'll want to sit for an hour and never leave.

There are trails that take you up to alpine lakes and waterfalls.

The whole place feels like a secret.

And in September, when the aspens are gold and the air is crisp, it is the most magical version of itself.
