Dayyymn! On a Wednesday! 92 hearty folks turned out to help J.R.R. Tolkien realize Middle Earth in CB. Fangorn Trail on Crested Butte Mountain Resort got a little bit longer with so many folks coming out to keep the trail going. It's not connected to Meander yet, but 0.5 miles of new trail was added to the beauty that Fangorn is - so many thanks CBMR. To the Crested Butte Development Team crews that came out, to the regular stalwarts and community that keeps giving - thank you! Amazing work done tonight. Thanks for hosting and feeding us CBMR, and for providing trails for the people! If you don't have dirt on your face... you may not have done trail work!

Mega mountain Monument madness out there! Up high, in the trees, in the meadows, and on trail, the Green Gentian is getting after it. Mad respect! Crystal rides out and back. Blk’n’tckle rides. 401 goes full loop, 403 has snow on the DH. D-top goes, all the way, mighty dry. No fire ban yet, but plz… soon! Its so good out there, but crazy dry already. Nearly open around the horn…. Mid June. Plz be good stewards and help those who may not know. Wednesday Workday tomorrow at CBMR, the work continues! ….in the name of glorious trail.

Gotta love when a solution comes together! Gas Cafe is partnering with the Town of Crested Butte, and is providing a backyard dumpster! The dumpster is locked, but you can go in, pay $5 a bag, get the key, and properly dispose of your trash! We need this to get out to the visitors and guests of our community, so please help spread the word. And thanks for taking some initiative to help, Gas Cafe!

Amazing views, incredible DH focused XC trail that starts at the Bike Park and wraps all the way around to Meander. All info below and on our website. 403 still holding snow on the climb, let alone the downhill. Lupine is exploding, Veratrum is exploding, monuments/green gentian are going yuge already! Meander is just glorious, and the new Fangorn addition up at Crested Butte Mountain Resort has the best views of the East River Valley of all time. Thanks for all the work and years of planning/building, John Hickey. Someone left another fire burning, on this crazy windy day, up Cement Creek, thanks for putting it out Xavier Fane!
