We’ve been getting questions about the newest iPhone models—especially the iPhone 15 and the upcoming iPhone 16 (all series and models). So let’s clear up a few things that many shops don’t always tell you.

While Apple has made it harder for independent shops to work on newer models, we stay informed and equipped with the best tools and options available.
🔧 Not all “OEM” parts are created equal.
If a repair shop claims they have “OEM Apple screens,” here’s the truth: unless they are an Apple Authorized Service Provider, those screens are usually pulled from another device or refurbished, not brand new from Apple’s assembly line.
That doesn’t mean they’re bad parts—but it does mean they aren’t identical in quality to brand-new Apple-installed components. Just something to keep in mind when someone quotes you a too-good-to-be-true deal.
