Nursery grower David Norris, Norris Nursery and Landscaping, Folsom, recently passed after suffering a medical event on July 30. David was a long time nursery grower (40 years) and has served as President and board member for the SE LA Nursery Association. Prayers and sympathy are with his wife Sue and their family. David will be missed by all.

Big news for the horticulture industry: the 2026 Farm Bill is moving forward!

This is an important step toward enacting a long-overdue Farm Bill, and the specialty crop provisions included in the legislation will provide meaningful support for horticulture businesses across the country.
