For 236 years, the men and women of the United States Coast Guard have stood the watch—protecting our nation’s shores, saving lives, enforcing our laws, safeguarding maritime commerce, and answering the call whenever and wherever duty demands.

Whether battling hurricanes, conducting daring search and rescue missions, interdicting narcotics, securing our ports, protecting our fisheries, defending our homeland, or deploying alongside our military around the globe, the Coast Guard continues to embody its timeless motto:

Semper Paratus — Always Ready.

Today we celebrate every Coast Guardsman—past and present—and we honor the families who stand beside them through every patrol, deployment, storm, and sacrifice.

To those currently serving, thank you for continuing a legacy of courage, honor, and selfless service. To our veterans, thank you for building the foundation that today’s Coast Guard proudly carries forward.

This 2” challenge coin was designed for the Mississippi Department of Public Safety – Narcotics & Criminal Interdiction Team and features shiny gold plating, bold 3D elements, and detailed soft enamel artwork on both sides. The design highlights the team’s mission with custom law enforcement imagery and Mississippi-specific details, creating a coin that’s both meaningful and built to last.

A special shoutout to Studio C Design, LLC for their outstanding design work on this project. We always enjoy bringing their designs to life, and we were proud to turn it into a highly coveted challenge coin.

Advancing to Senior Chief Petty Officer is a milestone that reflects years of dedication, leadership, and service. Congratulations to Senior Chief Culinary Specialist Russell Regney!

It was an honor for Guardian Coins to create this custom wooden sauce spoon-inspired ceremonial piece to commemorate Senior Chief Regney’s advancement.

Inspired by the traditional wooden sauce spoon used by culinary professionals, this one-of-a-kind keepsake incorporates meaningful details from his Coast Guard career, including his Culinary Specialist rating badge and Special Command Aide (SCA) insignia. Finished in premium antique brass with raised and recessed detailing, it was designed to celebrate both his profession and this significant career achievement.

Congratulations on your well-earned advancement to Senior Chief Petty Officer. Thank you for your continued service to our nation, and thank you for allowing Guardian Coins to help commemorate this special milestone.

🎉 Retirement Spotlight: OSCM Jeremy Weaver (1996–2026)

Not every retirement keepsake has to be a challenge coin.

For this project, we created a custom retirement poker chip to honor OSCM Jeremy Weaver and celebrate 30 years of dedicated Coast Guard service.

The front captures the anticipation of retirement with a tropical beach scene, a setting sun, and the perfect question every retiree eventually asks:

“Are We Done Yet?”

The reverse commemorates Jeremy’s career with his name, years of service, Master Chief Anchor, specialty insignia, and a clean, timeless design that will be appreciated for years to come.

Whether it’s a challenge coin, poker chip, bottle opener, patch, or another completely custom piece, we love helping bring meaningful ideas to life. Every project is designed to reflect the person, the career, and the story being celebrated.
