We’re taking a break from grip and grins, but fishing EVERY day! I felt like this picture symbolized the transition into winter quite well. Pictured is a Cardinal Flower (Thank you ) enduring some of the first “cold weather driven”power generation of the year. These transitional bites challenge even the most experienced anglers. We’ve had tons of minimum flow this year. Long cast, light tippet, and small flies have become the norm lately! BUT! You have to appreciate these times because they fuel innovation and they turn the page to the next good bite!
