The lull of the June gap is almost over, and just look at these beautiful varieties coming in bloom! Let's learn flowers by their names together, shall we?

I know the bouquets over the past weeks have looked similar, and NOW is when that pattern breaks and new flowers, colors, and textures emerge!

I'd estimate two weeks until they're ready. They only bloom once and then they're done for the season, and we'll never not grow them because they are simply divine!

Last year we killed our young plants in a late frost and had to purchase young plants grown elsewhere (see, I didn't tell you that last year) but this year, these are all our own little babies that we grew from seed. I'm patting us on the back - clap clap whoo!!

Colors grown this year: apricot, champagne, lavendar, pink, and white

Sweet peas on the vine - if you try to purchase these online or at a grocery store, you won't find them.

Their wild tendrils and fragrant scent are irreplaceable, and because they don't ship well, they aren't readily available to florists without paying an arm and a leg

So for the fleeting month of June, these wild child bouquets will be available at the farm stand in Saturdays and Sundays until they start to fade in July.
