QRS has manufactured piano rolls at its home on Niagara Street in Buffalo since the 1960s. By the end of this year, they plan to close their doors for good

A customer sent me this video last night of his piano. This is a very early Pianomation installation. The old "K**b Box" controller did not have a CD drive so you had to connect an external CD player. It used "Magic Pedal" technology which was a simulated sustain. I checked my records to find that I installed this system in July of 1995! It's been 24 years, it has never been serviced and it is still Playing Strong! Pianomation is a really tough system!

QRS.. I am have become a QRS fan. Although this is a 1995 model with a Bose background music system, it is really awesome. This piano is so awesome too, loud...
