I empathize with the neighbors, I know how toxic the smell from chicken farms like this is. I have to ask, though, are they still buying supermarket chicken???

The industrial food system is broken and nothing will change until people make the change. Not only are operations like this toxic to live around but they are toxic for the animals to be in and they create a toxic meat product. If you don’t want to be within miles of places like this, how are you going to justify putting what comes out of there in your body?

I’m so proud of our pastured poultry and other pastured operations. Come by for a visit and I’ll show you how we raise our chickens and other animals outdoors in a healthy, happy and above all, an environmentally beneficial way. Each animal that leaves our farm leaves the farm better for them having been here. And there’s no place that I’d rather live than Melody Meadows, whether I was a farm animal, wildlife or just a humble farmer.

A judge closed it. Now, the Texas Supreme Court has been asked to decide if it should reopen in a case with statewide ramifications for landowners and homeowners.

Brought home our new Swabian Hall sow today. She came directly from Carl Blake by way of J-K Superior Hogs out of Palestine. She is bred to one of their registered Full-blood Berkshire boars. This is all in continuation of our pursuit for the perfectly flavored pastured operation. Quality reigns supreme with all of our products.
