Join us today at 10 am to kick off our kids reading program! We’ll have Sarita Molina, who is Metro Elementary’s librarian and our dear friend, leading story time and all activities today!! 💕 While here, pick up your punch card for a free book! We will also be ending our summer reading program with a Bluey event, which if they completed the Bluey bingo card before then, they get a free cookie !🍪

So many fun things for June!!!! We have so many bookclubs and bookclub events! We added several children’s events as well! Lots of release parties, markets, etc etc etc! We are just so excited to kick off summer and we hope you join us🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻

I just want to thank everyone who orders books through us especially custom requests that we don’t have in stock. You all don’t realize the power each book purchase makes.

It also helps guide me a little bit better so I know where we are lacking and what books/genres/authors to order more from when the new season comes along and have to decide what to stock the store with. Our shop is for the community, so you all guide us as to what we recieve in shop. We can’t do that without your help!

This is also keeping in mind that we are a small business and in order to not charge you for shipping on custom requests, we add it to our normal shipments. HOWEVER, we need to meet a minimum amount of books ordered. And if we had a terrible week with no books to restock, it can take a little longer to submit the order and get your book in.

So please please please be patient with us. We are not a big corporation that sells 100000000000000000000 things a day and can qualify for overnight shipping.

Last Monday, we were so fortunate that author chose to come and talk to two schools here in our community about her new release “The Edge of Forever”💕

It is a book filled with heart, humor, and deals with topics such as healing from loss.

She is so amazing and everyone at Driscoll Middle School and Metro Elementary had so much fun and learned so much !! Thank you !!!!🫶🏻

For the summer, we will also be adding a couple new kids programs so be on the lookout! 💕

We love rain, we’ve been wanting rain! So we will be rescheduling our outdoor workout for next Sunday May 31st at 9 am! Come out and break a sweat as if you were one of the main characters in your favorite book💪🏼
