Today is ! In recognition of this day we are sharing a photo of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial commemorative envelope and stamp from the Solomon Bogard Collection. This particular stamp and envelope was stamped with “First Day of Issue” which was November 10, 1984.

Congratulations to Corpus Christi Army Depot's Upward Leader Investment for Tomorrow (UPLIFT) Class 2023-1! Graduation ceremonies were held at the NAS Corpus Christi Chapel. Eighteen members of the CCAD workforce completed the six-month program to expand their professional growth, skills, values and competencies as they become the next class of workforce leaders. More than one hundred of CCAD's civilians have graduated from the leadership program. Designed internally by CCAD's training staff, UPLIFT gives depot employees a chance to engage with colleagues and mentors in a structured leadership model, exploring concepts and principles from the Army and industry. Congratulations and thank you for your commitment to and for answering the call to keep the Army flying!
