Today is our last day as the owners of The Wee Loft in Corona del Mar, and our hearts are overflowing with gratitude.
Beginning January 1, the toy shop will continue its joyful journey under new ownership, Paula Velling, as — and the magic of play will carry on. ✨🧸

Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for 45 incredible years of love, laughter, and imagination — and for the last 13 beautiful years in Corona del Mar, where this community welcomed us so warmly. Watching your families grow, celebrating milestones, and sharing everyday moments of wonder has been the greatest gift of our lives.

We will forever cherish the memories made within these walls and the joy we were lucky enough to share with you and your children.

With Grateful Hearts, We Say Farewell to a Magical Chapter

After 45 magical years, it is with full hearts (and maybe a few happy tears) that we share the news:

❤️ We are retiring ❤️

There are no words big enough to express the joy, love, and gratitude we feel. For decades, we’ve had the absolute honor of watching new generations of families grow, play, love, and learn within the walls of The Wee Loft. From first birthdays to back-to-school treats, Christmas wish lists to everyday wonder — you have made this journey unforgettable.

While this chapter comes to a close, a beautiful new one is just beginning. We’re thrilled to share that The Wee Loft will live on under new ownership, starting January 2026 — the same warm hands that lovingly took over the Dana Point location. The spirit of magic, imagination, and play that defines The Wee Loft will continue to grow and thrive.

We are so excited to step into our own new adventure — retirement! A time to rest, reflect, and yes… play, in a whole new way.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who joined us for the Corona Del Mar Chamber of Commerce Christmas Walk — what an incredible day of magic, music, and holiday cheer!

We absolutely loved seeing our amazing customers dressed up like the cutest little elves, spreading smiles and laughter all around! 🎅🧝‍♀️ From festive tunes to twinkling lights, the whole village was glowing with joy.

Our hearts are especially full thanks to YOU — together we helped fill our Toys for Tots bins with the most wonderful gifts of play, love, and imagination. 🧸🎁 It means the world to us to be a part of a community that gives back.
