It is with a heavy, but grateful heart that we announce as of today, February 10, 2022, Market Street Apothecary is officially closed. We have sold our business to Walgreens. As of today all of our prescription records have been transferred to the location at 375 Pulteney Street, Corning NY 14830. We apologize for the short notice, but ask for your understanding in following the buyers’ request. Karen, Jim, and all of the staff would like to thank you for your loyal patronage and friendship over the last 17 years. The time has come to retire, and we are hoping that you will find it in your hearts to understand our decision. We have considered many avenues to keep the business in the right hands, and after careful consideration we have come to believe that Walgreens will put forth the best effort to meet all of our customers’ medical and prescription needs. Our pharmacist Jennifer and technician Tina will be moving on to the Walgreens location and hope to see you there. You are not obligated to keep your business with Walgreens if you do not wish to do so. Please know that we have valued our time serving the community and wish nothing but the best for all of you we have come to know.
