Primer superpoder desbloqueado: Firmeza (Steady). 🛡Hoy nuestros estudiantes aprendieron la respiración de Súper Héroe: inhalar como si olieran una flor y exhalar como si apagaran una vela. Suena sencillo, pero así es como los héroes se mantienen tranquilos y fuertes por dentro aun cuando todo parece fuera de control por fuera. La gran pregunta que se llevan hoy:
“
¿ Estoy
usando mi poder, o mi poder me está usando a mí?" Su reto de liderazgo es usar la respiración de Súper Héroe tres veces hoy y luego enseñársela a alguien en casa esta noche. Así
que si su estudiante los busca después de clases y les pide oler una flor y apagar una vela, ya saben por qué. 💛

First superpower unlocked: Steady. 🛡
Today our students learned their Super Hero breath: breathe in like you’re smelling a flower, breathe out like you’ re blowing out a candle. It sounds simple, but it's how heroes stay calm and strong on the inside even when things feel out of control on the outside. The big question they’ re carrying with them today: “Am I using my power,
or is my power using me?" Their leadership challenge is to use their Super Hero breath three
times today and then teach it to someone at home tonight. So if your student grabs you after school and asks you to smell a flower and blow out a candle, you’ ll know why. 💛

Join our PTA today! There are prizes for the top class with the most members and every member
will be entered to win a special prize as well! Our membership drive ends September 7th!

The pep rally was AMAZING and our students are officially in super
hero mode!

💥Apex Super Heroes is underway and pledging is now open!

Here’s how to support our school:

💥When pledging opens, log in to
myapexevent.com with your child’s access code or scan the QR code which can be found on their VIP Badge.

💥Personalize your child’s page by adding a picture or video, then
share to invite friends and family to donate to help Westchester
Elementary.

💥Make a flat donation of any amount to cheer your child on at the
Remix Party event. Every pledge helps raise funds for a new sound system for our cafeteria and a shade area for our playground.

💥In addition, every $360 raised, Apex will also donate to St. Jude’s Children’s hospital!

Our Apex Super Heroes Pep Rally with is tomorrow, and it's the start of two incredible weeks of leadership and fundraising. Students are encouraged to wear their class colors for tomorrow! Check the flyer for your color! 🤩

The energy at school is about to be UNREAL.
After the rally, pledging opens up! Students will bring home a VIP Badge with their login info for myapexevent.com.
