To all our friends and valued customers; It is with deep regret that POTTERY BY THE BAY is closing after 23 years of fun and laughter. We have met so many great people over the years and many have become family. The property has been sold and we are just too old to start over. It has been hard to keep the shelves full .

It has been a great ride and we would like to thank everyone for the support and encouragement we have received and I hope you will enjoy our pieces for a long time to come. Thank you so much. 🥰

I hope the better weather is cheering everyone up. Colleen and I are making some new things and with the dryer weather, things are moving along. I am bringing in a load this weekend. Ron is back and we may see him in the shop soon. Can't wait to see him. Come by and see us. We have missed all our regulars. Gray whales are migrating and should be able to see them from the beaches from the 23rd thru the 31st. Another good reason to come to Charleston. 🥰

It was a gorgeous day in Charleston today. Warm and sunny. Hope it will be good tomorrow and I am looking forward to seeing some great customers. Whale watching is doing well and fresh crab is being unloaded.
