Hello, I’m Ray D. Morgan and I’m the Author of Beyond The Valley. I’ve spent most of my life as an industrial machinist/pump-mechanic as well as being an organic farmer and beekeeper. He has an associates degree in environmental water technology and is a retired licensed water treatment agent he has spent some time as a certified substitute teacher for the local school grades K through 12 he is also spent some time in recent years working and volunteering at the agricultural Hall of Fame spending a few days a week maintaining the grounds working on equipment and helping events to run smoothly he drove the train for his grandkids and others while working the Hall of Fame.
He has been in organic farmer for the last 50 years or so as well as a beekeeper for the last 16 years. He has raised cattle on a small scale and it occasional foal for his own use he has a collector of books, magazines, broken things and unfinished projects.
Above all he has more than 60 years as a “wannabe” cowboy. However his family and friends know that as a self-proclaimed wanna be cowboy his heart truly belongs on the open range. His love for horses and cattle is obvious and knowledge of the subjects as well as American history is endless. So while his spurs would hang in the closet during the work week the dust never had time to settle because come Saturdays, The man his family knows came to life and Ray Morgan became the coolest grandpa and cowboy any kid could possibly imagine. Among his other talents storytelling ranks high on the list he never runs out of stories to tell, usually with a lot more story than truth, but then again, some more so wild they almost have to be true.
As for future work, he thinks Hanna Kane, who you will meet in this story, is an interesting young woman. Be patient; he spent eight years on this one!
