The Woolen Rabbit specializes in unique yarns for discerning knitters!

The Woolen Rabbit grew from my love of Angora Rabbits back in the late 1990's and became a registered business in 2003. Over the years we have grown from dyeing small amounts of angora and blending it with wool, into a web based business offering hand dyed yarns, fiber, handmade bags, soaps and hand cream. I have been so fortunate to have met some of the nicest people through my love of fiber. :-)

I love this colorway that was a happy mistake in the dye pot. I'm calling it "Cinnamon Hearts". I definitely see a sweater down the road with this color.

I fell in love with this pattern, "Robin Red Socks" by when it popped up in my feed recently. (from2015!). Such a fun pattern to knit.

I loved knitting this sweet little ruffled scarf by .designs. I cast on a few less stitches as this is for my littlest granddaughter and I think she will love it! Knit with my Wren yarn. Another one is already on my needles!

I know it's been a while, but I am going to be ordering yarn bases for a show that I will be working at next month. I would love to hear what yarn bases that you would like to see again. I will be ordering a bunch of opal... How about:

"This week’s feature is Harmonize! I love this pattern because not only are there three separate versions of the pattern (the master is shown, but the pattern files include all three), but you can mix and match the different sections and make your own beautiful masterpiece if you like! I designed the sections so they could move around. I also really geek out on the running lines of stitches that go through the solid sections straight into the lace sections and then back again. This version uses a beautiful color combo that put together 😍" (yarn kits are available).
